Letters were read from Miss Snape and
Lord Chael Cochrane of Cults wishing us a successful show. A letter was read from Mr Ken Atkins of Canada asking for bulbs.
The editor of the ‘Amateur Gardening’ had asked for more information about Society and requested for a 300word article to be published later this year
Trophies – |we have had two letters from the
Sun Alliance of London Insurance Group. One ststing that we had cover for £650 on a £5 premium
The other valuation was asking for information on the new valuation.
The new valuation was carried out by Mr J T Appleyard F G A of J W Turner’s Wood at Wakefield
