Proposed & Seconded that Mr J W Bentley, Castleton
again be President
Also that all members form the committee
Mr Needham wrot (sic) a letter asking if the Chalenge (sic Challenge)
Cup Belonging to this society & which he as won three
times in succession can be given to him on Condition
that he (Mr Needham) finds this Society a cup of equal
Value in its place
It was proposed & carried that the secretary
offer Mr Needham the Cup as above if he sends
a Cup of the Same value & Pure Silver, not White Metal
or any other metal.
