The minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed.
Thanks for our floral spray & condolences were received from Mrs Cottran, landlady of the Jockey Hotel.
It was announced that Mr E.H. Robinson was unable to Judge at our Annual Show, therefor it would be Mr J. Akers as arranged.
Correspondence was read from "Garden News"
informing us that our show dates arrived too late to be included in their show date supplement.
A letter was read from Cr W Johns accepting our invitation to open the Horbury Show on Saturday 18th May.
Several members reported Tulips of poor quality & not true to name from Parkers & the secretary, after taking particulars, was instructed to send a strong protest to
Parkers & to ask for rebate.
The secretary was asked to see Mr E H Robinson to arrange final details alot about the Show.
Mr Hunter & Mr Eyre promised to arrange for vases etc., & Mr Akers & Mr Hardman would arrange for tables & vases for the Annual Show the secretary to inform St John’s Terrace WMC
secretary & also ask him to arrange for sufficient ½ pint bottles (50 doz) & to incorporate our show in their press announcements.

It was agreed to insert a small advert in the Horbury Observer regarding the Horbury Show.
A raffle realised 10/-
