The Minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed as a true record
Correspondence was read from the Mayor’s secretary informing us that the Mayor elect Councillor G Palmer would be able to attend our annual show on Saturday 20th X May 1972
Also from Mr Frank Smith who would be pleased to judge the Darwin classes at both forthcoming shows and from Mr Jack Burton regretting he was unable to judge the English classes owing to pressure of work
A letter was read from Mr C A Hawkes suggesting we should have a half page advert in the Southern Auricula Society’s year Book which he would pay for.
This offer was gratefully accepted
It was agreed that Messrs J Akers, H V Calvert J Hardman, should judge the English Florists classes & should use the card vote system
