Matters Arising — None
Correspondence A letter was read form an a A Sandfrod asking if we could help him establish a bulb nurseries in South Wales. The Sec’ was asked to write to him and offer bulbs if he would pay for the postage.
Show Report This had been sent out to all members by post a week before the meeting
B Carr proposed a vote of thanks to the Secretary for a well set out report.
New Members N H Eyre proposed and C Heptonstall seconded that James Akers of Kirklongate and A Sandford of Newcastle become members.
Bulb Orders The catalogues were given out from Messrs Parkers for members to order their Dutch bulbs at our next meeting.
Mr Akers gave 5 members a small collection of English Tulip bulbs which included his new seedling ‘Wakefield’ also Sir Joseph Paxton
Mr R B Green thanked Mr Akers on behalf of the members.
