Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved
Correspondence A letter was read from TS. Mills of Walsall stating that he was very sorry that he had missed the Annual show due to his car breaking down on the show day.
A letter from Stan Knowles enclosing £20 the proseed from the plant sales.also advising member of the prize offer. Its members of this society and others in Barnsley in December.
Show Report The Show report had been sent to all members before the meeting for
Chair The chairman thanked members for a good show and the help on the day. O He wsa highly delighted with our opener Victor Roozen of Holland who took time to research his speech and made the day evening go. The Chairman also comented on the date of the show, for many members the week before would have been better.
A.O.B. Mr James Aker reported that the
Village Hall at Wrenthorpe had been booked on the 8th October for 2.00pm to 6.00pm for the AGM. Meeting. Wendy Akers offered to make some refreshments at a small charge ie Tea/and scones etc. Mr Akers replied that Mr Evans had taken some good photos of the B????? he took for the Annual show
The chairman thanked the members present for their attendance and asked that a vote of thanks be recorded to Mr Stan Knoles for the donation od £200
