Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.

There were no matters arising.

Correspondence The main letter received was the annual premium from the Sun Alliance

Insurance Group stating that the policy had been up dated and the new premium would be £54.92 per year. The meeting discussed the matter and agreed to paid the new figure.

The Annual Show After a long discussion the date was set for the 21st May this year proposed by S???? Akers and seconded by Malcolm Hainsworth. The Secretary was asked to book Holmfield House from 10am to 9pm at a cost of about ££66 to 70 and order the bottles.

Opener The Chairman proposed that we should ask Victor Roozen to open the shop as recognition for the work he as does done for the Society in Holland, this was agreed and if he was not available to ask the Mayor of Wakefield H.B.C.

Judges The meeting felt that we should have judges who were not showing at the show and it was agreed to get in touch with Bill Tear and Sarah Burton to see if they would judge failing that

J. Hardman offered to judge the Dutch Classes and James Akers offered to judge the Novice and Extra classes. The secretary would ask Jane Eyre to fill in the open classes.

Raffle A raffle was XXX agrred and tickets would be 5p each. The Chairman asked if the Society could provide a bottle of whisky, C Marsh said that he may be able to get a bottle of whisky for the H.P, for Wakefield well with the Houses of Parliament ???? on this would be the first prize.

TROPHIES James Akers reported that he had the trophies and would get them engraved before the show. The meeting approved that there should be 4 glas engraved ???? give to the most points in the four sectors

Mrs Akers stated that the cost would be about £15 each.

Schedules The same as last year.

A.G.M. Our chairman would like members to come to the meeting in September early October to discuss the aims of the Society and what is a head in the next few year. ie the Bank Balance and to hold new members to ????? the different variety of Tulips with the aid of a slide show as this would take more than an evening it was agreed to see if Wrenthorpe Hall was available.

for a Saturday afternoon and provide Teas so that members could get to gether Mrs Akers would try for a date about the 4 1st Saturday in Oct.
