Although the venue for this show was the Griffin Inn, the location for the previous year’s show, there was serious doubt as to whether of not this report is for a Wakefield Florists Society show. There were a number of problems. The inclusion of the word Central in the Society name, the absence of most of the regular names among the exhibitors and the reference to Mr Hall as an amateur.
