The show was on the usual Monday until 11pm on that night, before remaining open for a further two days.

There were twelve ‘judged through’ awards for six rectified, and for the first time a class for six breeders.
It was stated that Abraham Holmes and George Gill had exhibited at this show and also at the previous 42 shows.
‘Sir Joseph Paxton’, Doctor Hardy (shown as a breeder), and ‘Lady Catherine Gordon’ are among the flowers shown. It is not known after whom this latter flower was named but it may have been the mother of Lord Byron who died in 1811.
