Wakefield Star 1810

This show is believed to be the fourth annual Auricula and Polyanthus show held by the Wakefield Florists Society. It was held at the Angel Inn, Wood Street, Wakefield, a new venue as the first three shows were held at the Grand Stand, Outwood, Wakefield.

One of the exhibitors was a Mr Parker. There are a number of members of the Parker family who exhibited at later shows, and although it is thought that all would have been too young to show in 1810, this Mr Parker may have been from the same family.
