The Angel Inn was situated in Wood Street, Wakefield and although describing itself as an inn, it does not appear in that section of Piggot’s Directory in 1829 and 1834, but in the one for Taverns and Public Houses.
The fourth show for Auriculas and Polyanthus was held there in 1810, as was a similar show in 1827.
