Annual General Meeting held at the Jockey
Hotel Northgate Jan 22<sup>nd</sup> 1955 at 7pm

Minutes Pro W Beddows } that minutes of
Sec N Eyre } previous General Meeting be accepted as a true record.
Correspondence Arising out of a letter from the
Thornes Club Secretary stating that the room has been booked for the show unless it be at that date in the hands of the decorators in which case the room below shall be available.
It was Pro W Beddows sec J Hardman that the secretary shall meet the Thornes Club secretary nearer the date of the show.
Auditors Report Mr Eyre said that the books were in good order and it was pleasing to see that the society had made a profit. Mr Tear agreed with the above remarks.
Election of Officers President. Pro J Akers sec J Hardman that Mr Hunter be elected President.
Pro Mr Meens } that Mr Beddows be reelected sec Mr Eyre } Chairman.
Pro A Tear } that Secretary & other officials be sec N Eyre } elected en bloc
Pro Mr Calvert } that Secretary write the
Sec Mr Meens } new Wakefield Parks Superintendent and ask him to visit our Annual Show.
Pro Mr Beddows sec Mr Calvert That the Mayor of Wakefield be asked to open the Thornes Show
A raffle realised 9/6 profit aft 2/6 for the Room
