A meeting was held on 18th May 1908
present: J. Wright (Chairman), J. Hardwick,
A. Moorhouse, J. Taylor, T.W. Tyson, J.S. Still,
R. Robinson, H. Ellis, W. Tunnicliffe, F.W.
Tattersall & I. Whitworth
It was reported that Mr Mellor was still
alive but mostly unconscious.
The minutes of last meeting were read & signed.
A letter received from Mr Needham was read
in which he consented to act as one of the judges
in the amateur & Novice Classes.
It was also reported that Mr J. Netherwood
was seriously indisposed & would be unable to
act as a judge. The Hon. Secretary was
therefore instructed to write Mr B. Simmonite
to officiate.
The schedules & balance sheet were distributed
& sundry arrangements made for collection
of subscriptions.
It was arranged to hold another meeting
on Friday evening to definitely arrange for
advertising [e]tc.
