Mr FR Hunter presided over a good attendance of members. The Society’s finance was discussed at some length, members realizing the folly of giving all proceeds of shows to charity, in addition to the sale of flowers. The Lincolnshire Handicap tickets were given out, all members present, expressed willingness to help in every way possible.
The Secretary reported having interviewed Mr Siddall regarding cold state of room at our last meeting.
Our worthy host, explaining, that under the coal and fuel rationing, he was only allowed to heat one room, besides his own kitchen.
Sec also reported the treasurer was ill, & the Annual meeting may thus be delayed.
