The Hon. Secretary reported that the Chairman (W. Mellor) was very seriously ill.
The Minutes of last meeting were read & confirmed.
A letter received from Mr H. Gill was read stating his intention to exhibit with the amateurs. As however he resided about 12 miles away it was suggested that to make his qualification in order an alteration be made in the 10 miles area rule passed on (page 9) the 6th April next when it was proposed by Mr Taylor & seconded by Mr Tunnicliffe “That the rule passed on 6th April last be rescinded & the radius increased to 15 Miles from the Cathedral” carried unan’.
The Hon. Secretary was instructed to write Mr Needham asking if he would officiate as one of the judges in the amateur classes.

The question as to date for show was next discussed & it was proposed by Mr Hardwick & seconded by Mr Wright “That the annual exhibition be held on Saturday the 30th May & following days”.
The balance sheet for 1907 was Presented by the Treasurer & duly audited & passed & ordered to be printed & circulated.
