The usual monthly meeting was
held at the Brunswick Hotel on Monday
the 2nd December 1907
Present W. Mellor, A. Moorhouse, J. Hardwick,
J. Wright, W. Tunnicliffe, J. Taylor and I.
Whitworth (Hon. Sec.)
The minutes of last meeting were read
approved and signed.
The question of introducing professional
gardeners was again discussed and it was
unanimously resolved to permit them to exhibit but
only in the names of their employers — it
being understood that Lady Catherine Milnes
Gaskell through Mr F.W. Tyson her gardener —

would exhibit on these terms.
The Hon. Secretary was also instructed to
write M^r Wells, gardener to M^rs Wentworth,
Woolley Park, asking him to obtain M^rs
Wenthworth’s permission for him to exhibit on the
same terms.
