Local Show Venues

Although the Society was ‘established’ in 1836, earlier shows in Wakefield are recorded, including one 1n 1829 at the Woodman Inn. Unfortunately we do not have a photograph of this venue. Photographs of other venues are shown below together with the years when the Annual Show was held there. Several of these have now been demolished.
