Letters were read from Mr Bell
(Whinney Moor) agreeing to date of show and asking for further particulars later
& from Mr Atkinson of Ossett who would not open the show owing to a prior engagement at Ossett Church
Mr Dunford (Altofts) & Mrs E Burrows had not yet replied to the Sec re their invitation to open the respective Shows.
Mr Hunter said Mrs Burrows had telephoned him to say she would open the

The Secretary asked for raffle prizes

The Secretary then asked if the Committee wish to alter the list. Mr Hunt wished to propose Cn H Holmes of Horbury
The Sec pointed out that to become a VP of any society service or financial aid were the usual qualifications. Mr EH Robinson said a few words in agreement pro EH Robinson sec J Moutter that the list stand as last year.
