Tulips so that remainder could be put in Autumn Catalogue.

The secretary gave a report of the shows & stressed that the Society was short of helpers on the Sunday night at
Altofts Show. The Sale of bloom & the raffle were not too good at the Thornes
Show. A Profit of £6-12-2 was made on the two Shows.

The Secretary then said he would
at dispose of most of his flowering bulbs (Cavendish Feathered, Paxton Flamed,
Bessie Flamed & Columbine Feathered) to members at 1/- each so that more members would be able to exhibit & the prizes would be better distributed. He would not Show in the English Classes.

Raffle Tomatoes & Eggs realised 12/6 after paying 2/6 for room.
Mr Kelner then showed some coloured slides of English Tulips, which blooms had been shown at the Thornes Club this year & also slides of friends & foes in the garden. This was very enlightening & he was thanked by Mr Hunter. It was decided to have some put on to coloured postcards next year.
