The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved

Matters Arising — None

Correspondence A letter was read from Victor Roozen of Holland Asking the Society to purchase a small silver cup for a new class in the novice classes 3 Breeders , The cup to be known as

‘The Gina Roozen Cup’ A Sum of £20 was included.

A letter had been received from the Victoria & Albert Museum London asking for information on the conservation of the English Tulip they are going to hold an exhibition next May on One Thousand Year of British Gardening and asked if we could supply some details.

Mr S Knowles handed the meeting a letter stating that he and a friend had sold Summer and Veg plants during May & June and raised over £60 and has kindly mayd made the following donations

Barnsley Dahlia Soc. £15

Wakefield & North of England Tulip Soc £15

NVS £15

Barnsley Late Chrysanth Soc £15

Vote of Thanks was proposed by H V Calvert and second by J Akers to Mr Knowles for his kind donation.

New Members The meeting approved two new members

Mr Earnshaw of Hethey and R Cotton of Royston

Show Report The report had been sent out to members listing the winners of the classes. On the finance side there was a profit of £25.91

Trophies The Secreatary showed the meeting a small silver cup which we could purchase for £31 in respect It was put to the meeting to add all to the money that the Mr Roozen had sent to buy it for the ‘Gina Roozen Cup’ After a short discussion and

Mr Jim Akers asking to buy a rose bowl in EPNS not a small cup that would be now use as a flower vase. At this point that a vote was taken and it was agreed to have the silver cup and the Society put the addition money toward the cost with a view of and investment. ??? ??? also put that we the Society pays to have to base of the Perkin Trophy plated to take more names..

Bulb Orders Parker Catalogue was passed around the member and some placed orders.

The meeting closed at 9.00pm
