Minutes of last meeting was read & confirmed.
At the suggestion of several members, it was discussed about charging 1d for schedules this year, but on a vote it was defeated. It was decided to advertise prize money on schedules. A big discussion took place on the annual show date, but it was felt that a date could not be arrived at, until the next meeting. It was unanimously decided to alter the words on schedules, re proceeds from sale of Nlooms.
In future it to read, From the Proceeds of the sale of Blooms grants will be made to
Local Charities. Several members offered to bring presents, to be raffled off at the annual show to help the finance of the Society.
The Secretary was given permission to obtain rule cards, or any other stationary that may be required for the
Society. It was decided to add another class in the Daewin Tulips, a class of 3. Also that 6d be charged for each entry of Class 1 ie 18 Darwin Tulips, & 3d for each entry of Class 2 ie 9 " " & for the new class of 3 Darwin Tulips, This class be entry free, to encourage more entries in the new class. It was passed that it be placed on the Agenda for the first meeting after our Annual Show, the question of membership fees for showing in the Open, Local & Novice Classes.
It was decided to leave the question of Opener for Annual Show for 1946, be left in the Sec hands.
Next meeting on Sat 27th April, members not to be notified, all present stating their ability to attend on the 27th.
