As we were holding an ordinary meeting after this meeting ~~the~~ at there was now other business closed at 8.00pm

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved

Matters Arising Mr WD Tear reported that he had ~~som~~ taken some English Tulip bloom down to London for the V & A museum but unfortunately the contact in London didn’t arrive so the bloom never arrived at the V & A Thanks were express to Mr Tear for his ????

New Member Mrs Wendy Akers wish to become a member proposed by J Akers on 2^nd June by J Hardman and passed.

Opener The Secretary was asked to contact the Mayor of Wakefield or his deputy ~~fall~~ failing this Mr C Harrison would try to get Dr Clifford of Royston to open the show

Raffle Tickets were distributed to members for sale at 2p each

After a discussion about setting up at the show on the Friday night that meeting closed at 8.50pm

a raffle raise £1.80

Mr Stan Knowles a vice president gave the society £15 from the sale of flowers and vegetable plants he grow. He also gave £15 each to Barnsley Dahlia Soc Barnsley late Chrysant Soc and NatV Soc
