W. Markham, F. Booth & H Calvert.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read
& confirmed.
A vote of thanks was moved to Mr E.H. Robinson for the work had he did at the Horbury Show
16th May, & for providing an excellent tea.
New member. It was proposed Mr E.H. Robinson & seconded by Mr N.H Eyre, that Mr C. Petts of
23, Millfield Road, Horbury, be accepted as a new member.
The secretary presented a financial report
of the two shows, showing a net loss of £1-10-4.
This did not take donations into account, which amounted to £8-12-0. It was proposed Mr N H Eyre
& seconded be Mr FR Hunter that the report be accepted.
It was proposed Mr Akers, seconded Mr Beddows that we should send a donation of £2-2-0 to
Thornes W.M. Club for their childrens treat fund.
It was proposed Mr E.H. Robinson & seconded Mr Eyre that a letter of thanks be sent to Horbury
Conservative Club for the use of their room for our show on May 16th 1959.
A raffle realised 11/-. Meeting closed at 7-45 P.M.
