Our first item of business was the paying of prize money,and great satisfaction was expressed by the committee, at being able to pay its members to the full, without being levid for working expences

The minutes of the last meeting were then read and keen controfessy ensued as to the minute re (exibitors flowers becoming the property of the society after show) but eventualy they were

The only correspondence was a letter from

Mr Needham who expressed a keen desire to help the new growers and proposed to set aside 400 or 500 bulbs to be purchased through the society at 10/- per 100, this offer was immediately axepted and the secratery was instructed to thank Mr Needham for same

And place an order for 500 if possible of sorts to named by R Robinson or E H Robinson the terms to be 2/6 down, 2/6 in three months and the balance on show day (per 100) the possibility of Holding a flower show was then discussed and it was felt that it was an opportunity for the society to increase its fund, as there was no other show at our headquarters the following proposition was made pro Beddows sec Lockwood }

That a mixed flower show be held on a date to be fixed at our next meeting after enquiries have been made as to the date of other local shows

Meeting closed at 10PM
