Mr Midgley was unable to be present owing to the
Auricula Show.
Minutes Pro W Beddows } that minutes of
Sec A Tear } previous meeting be accepted as a true record.
Arising out of the minutes, the secretary said that due to the coming election the printers had not printed the raffle tickets & that he those he had obtained were printed on 2d per ticket. It was Pro Mr Beddows sec Mr Eyre that the price of raffle tickets be amended to 2d per ticket. 7 for 1 Shilling for each raffle

Correspondence Arising out of the letters received from Mr Sitwell who is publishing a book with paintings on the ‘Old English Tulip"
It was Pro N Eyre } that secretarys action
Sec W Beddows } in agreeing to send Tulip blooms from the show as promised by the society be endorsed & that that he be lent minute books of the society for perusal if he wished to avail himself of any information therein
Altofts Show
Mr Eyre stated that he had arranged for vases & black cloth to be delivered on the
Thursday or Friday previous to show day.
Annual Show at Thornes
The delegation (Mr Eyre & Mr Akers) to see the Thornes Club secretary reported everything in order for the Show. The secretary to send letter re the 40 doz bottles required & to fix up 12 teas for members with the stewardess.
Mr Calvert, Mr Bell & Mr Hunter to Pr present
Friday before show at 7 pm. Mr Eyre would be present on the Monday to dismantle.
Raffle of eggs(donor Mr Hunter) realised 7/6 after paying 2/6 for room.
