Arising out of the minutes
It was pro J Akers sec J Prest that the Thornes Show date be moved forward to the 17th May. This was carried.
Messrs Hunter & Eyre then left to see the Thornes Club & Mr Haynes to advise them of the change of date
Advert Pro A Tear sec J Prest that an advert be put in the
Wakefield Express for the Thornes Show & an advert in the Normanton Advertiser for the Altofts Show.
Messrs Calvert, Bell, Booth & Markham agreed to go to Thornes on the Friday night to prepare.
The following agreed to give prizes for the raffles. Messrs Hunter, Beddows, Akers
Hardman, EH Robinson, Markham & Hunt.
Raffle tickets were distributed
Mr Hunter to fetch vases & black cloth from Horbury for the Thornes Show the secretary to order 60 Doz bottles

Society for the Altofts Show.
Raffle realised 10/6 after paying 2/6
