Meeting opened at 6-50, Mr Beddows was in the chair in the absence of Mr FR Hunter. The Minutes of the last annual meeting were read & confirmed.
Corrispondance was read & accepted. Out of the corrispondance from the Royal Horticultural Society, it was pro N Eyre, seconded J Akers that secretary write to Secretary of the RH Society, for schedule & complimentary tickets with a view to our society putting up a stand of English Florists Tulips at their Chelsea show. The secretary then gave his annual report showing a profit, although the turnover for the year had been less. The Balance sheet was then presented to members & after discussion, it was accepted, after a report by Mr N Eyre one of the auditors.
Election of Officers then followed, Mr G Hunt was re-elected secretary & Mr Prest re-elected treasurer.

In any other business, it was resolved that in future, if a member become deceased, the Society to purchase a wreath. It was also resolved that any grants to charities made by society, be discussed at first meeting after annual Show. Pro Reg Robinson sec N Eyre that secretary get in touch with Spalding people & PG Warmerdam Ltd. The secretary was thanked for his services,& next meeting fixed for 26th April 1947. Meeting closed at 8pm
