The newspaper report in the Wakefield Herald shows the winning exhibitors, however the Society Minute Book shows the cultivars. Lady Catherine Milnes-Gaskell was an exhibitor. Because this was an Amateur Society she used her own name whereas in shows where professional exhibitors were allowed it was the practice to use the Gardeners name followed by the comment gardener to xxxxx. Feathered — H Gill with Bessie
