Both reports state that the show was held on a Tuseday, instead of the normal Moday and Tuesdaye. The Gardeners’ Gazette published the full results whereas the York newspaper limited it to a few words of praise. An excellent society, praise indeed from the home of the country’s oldest Florists’ Society.
