The report speaks of there being nine classes, all single blooms, with breeder, flame and feather from each of the three colour types, rose, bybloemen and bizarre. However the results start with a pan of six blooms, Did the judges have to re-examine these single bloom classes and construct a virtual six class of feather and flame from each of the three colour types for each of the competitors? Hard to visualise. Once again as so often over the years, a flamed Sir Joseph Paxton seems to have been the best flower in the show,
